This Ray Smith business card is accession item #1993-33 from the Paul Rogers Tattoo Research Center (PRTRC). At this time (1970s) Ray was working with the Border Bros. at #759 North Dixie Highway, in Radcliff Ky. Ray was a bigger than life character and for years Ray was a fixture at the National Tattoo Association convention. He would always show up wearing a beautiful Nudie suit with classic tattoo designs cover it. Peacocks on the legs, dragons done the sleeves, black panthers on the front of his jacket and a large eagle on the back.
