Born in Orlando, Florida, Riley spent a few early years in New Jersey before returning to the warmth of Florida, eventually settling in Jacksonville. From a young age, she was deeply drawn to the arts in many forms, though drawing always held a special place in her heart. Whether sketching, drawing on friends with markers, or creating henna designs, she found herself naturally expressing through the body as canvas. Though she admired tattoo artists, it wasn’t until later that she realized this was a path she, too, could pursue.
Riley’s journey into tattooing was anything but traditional. With a strong calling to help others, she initially pursued a career in mental health, becoming a dance/movement therapist and Clinical Mental Health Counselor. Her work integrated creative arts therapy, yoga, breathwork, meditation, and mindfulness to support deep emotional and spiritual healing. Early in her career, she was introduced to Reiki energy healing, which she began incorporating into her sessions. She worked across multiple settings, including substance use treatment, intensive outpatient programs, and private practice, guiding individuals through profound transformation.
While deeply fulfilling, this work eventually led to burnout, as Riley found herself pouring into others while becoming disconnected from her own creative expression. In searching for a more aligned and sustainable path, she rediscovered the tattoo world—and immediately felt a sense of belonging. What may have seemed like a drastic shift to others felt like a natural evolution. With full support from those around her, she stepped into tattooing with confidence, recognizing it as the bridge between her artistic identity and her role as a healer.
Through her work, Riley has come to understand that tattooing and therapy share a deeply similar essence. Both require trust, presence, and the creation of a safe space where individuals can fully express themselves. She views tattooing as an inherently spiritual and transformative experience—an energetic exchange where clients move through emotional and energetic shifts, whether consciously or not. Pain becomes a catalyst for release, allowing energy to move rather than remain stagnant.
Riley intuitively incorporates Reiki into her tattoo sessions, infusing intention, presence, and care into each piece. Many clients also seek dedicated Reiki sessions before or after their tattoos to support energetic clearing, grounding, and manifestation.
Riley currently specializes in ornamental, fine line, and blackwork tattooing, with a continued commitment to expanding her skillset across all styles in order to serve a wide range of clients.
Outside of the studio, she dedicates her free time to dance— training, competing, and social dancing. Her current focus includes country swing, west coast swing, and line dancing, while her roots trace back to a lifelong background in Bollywood, hip hop, and contemporary styles.
