Large original oil painting on canvas, of beautiful Aspen Trees. Gifted to amazing and dear Family friends. Believed to be a tree of HEROES. "Aspis" is the greek name for Aspen. It means "shield". The Greeks thought it had magical powersand protective qualities. Its leaves were used in crowns of heroes. The bark and leaf are used to make medicine.
