Squire's breeds pit bulls. His dog, "Biz Markie", made the cover of a large canine publication so he asked me to tattoo the photo. The lighting on the original photo was so harsh that I decided to use other photos of Biz for color reference. On top of that, I wanted to give the piece a graphic feel, even though it is a portrait. I added some filigree for flavor and some exaggerated blue lighting for contrasting tones. I had a blast working on this piece. All Intenze Products.
