Matthew is one of the cooler clients I have the privilege of getting to tattoo from time to time. We started this piece last year and did the wire walker and gnarly blue sky (which is all healed in this photo). Matthew is a rad dude who is a librarian by day and tight rope walker by weekend! We added this all seeing eye / eye of providence to watch over him. I love the irony behind it; as the eye is typically located above what it "looks upon".... but in this case, we have it below. There is some pretty cool symbolism there and I am stoked on how it came out. Thanks for looking. Can't wait to see Matthew again, for some more interesting conceptual work. Bishop Rotary.
