The 10th edition of the tattoo event of the year, the International Tattoo Convention Bucharest, organized for the 10th consecutive year by Next Level Tattoos Costi & Tattoo & Piercing Romania Association gathered at the Bragadiru Palace between November 1-3, 2019. More talented, passionate, and famous tattoo artists of the day. Hundreds of tattoos were made, awards given, winners applauded, adrenaline has been activated, we have been singing, we have been emotional and all of this was recorded dozens of hours of video material, in thousands of photos, on the skin, in our memories, and in our soul. The report dedicated to the tenth edition of the ITCB could not include everything that happened in the 3 days, but we wanted to carry out a sincere analysis of the evolution of the tattoo scene in Romania and in the world over the last 10 years, viewed through this prism - young artists, those who were born in the age of the Internet, but also through the eyes of old-schoolers, tattoo masters with over 20 years of experience tattooing. We invite you to learn more about the particularities of the tattoo convention in Bucharest and how this event happens from year to year through the efforts of a single man, such as the tattoo as a way of life, which is still today the perception in society regarding tattoos. And to find out what lessons tattooing teaches us, as Gabe Ripley suggests, "...that every one should have the opportunity to appreciate and learn from the art of tattoos."
