COLOR ZOMBIE MERMAID PIRATE UNDERWATER SLEEVE TATTOO exterior
This sleeve was truly a labor of love on a really great client Mariah. She started this with the original intention of it being a half sleeve which in time developed into a 3/4 sleeve tattoo. Mariah came to me wanting a zombie mermaid but have her sexy and feminine. We also made a very concious decision to tone down the piece's color pallete and use primarily tertiary colors. We'd always planned on the mermaid as the exterior focus and to have the pirate skeleton for the interior, but the lobster and clam were the additions to take the half sleeve into a 3/4. I had fun creating a story between the mermaid, her pirate victim, and the pearl thieving lobster. What a fun journey with an incredible person! Thank you for looking.
