I was really jazzed about this piece and looking at a lot of Mike Moses for a strong inspiration to make these wings look more crative than the original imagery my client brought in.. I went with more of a stone like wing look as a homage to its Greek heritage and then used the warm and cool cirlces as a nod to Mercury (the Roman version of the same person... also a round planet.. and that stuff that tells you the temperature.. don't eat that, ive heard bad things ). We were both really happy with the end result and I knocked both of these out in one evening. Cheers!
