email this page to a friend This faerie connects to the Greenwoman 1/2 sleeve I am currently working on. Usually faeries are portrayed as innocent and waiflike which is contradictory to the myth of the ancient fae folk. In actuality, they were powerful and seductive creatures - male and female - able to shapeshift at Will and change humans' lives in the blink of an eye, the drink of some fae potion or by just luring humans to fall asleep on one of their mounds. I like to depict evil seductive, sensual and dark faeries. Mature and knowledgeable faeries, if you will. |
