My client asked for a typewriter with plastic flowers. I had to figure out a way to deal with the detail level of a typewriter so I decided to crop in and make a frame around the keys with the flowers and other assorted ornament stuff. That's when the idea came to change the keys around. The "I once was" came from the client. You'll have to ask her what that means.
