 Glenn did this in three sessions,

First session consisted of drawing the wings onto the clients back so they were in proportion to what he wanted, then the wings were outlined.

The second session, the left wing was shaded. This was done 30 days later to be sure the outline was healed.

The 3rd and final session, the right wing was shaded.

The client was a student at our local nuclear school program with the U.S. Navy, located in Goose Creek, SC. 

Glenn wanted to take it to the next level by adding some drop shadow. This effect would make it appear a bit more realistic. But the student was stationed to a new facility, so time was cut short.
