Yes I've heard of Tat Gone and seen it in use, and I do not recomend it. Let the tattoo heal Up, and see a good Laser guy. There are several individuals in our busines doing wonderful things with removals.

No you probably have not seen good reviews ...you have seen advertisements that are meant to look like reviews!....Guy Aitchison used the stuff om himself!!....Its basically a liquid inundated with microscopic abrasive granules that irritate the skin so much that the bodies healing properties go into overdrive and try to spit it out therefore getting rid of the pigment but at the same time leaving some pretty bad scarring...I had a client in last month who had gone through the tat gone removal...the tattoo in question was nearly gone but the skin was so scarred that I would never be able to tattoo over it without dermabrasion or peel lasering...And this is not the first time I have seen this with this product....


Lasering is really the only method I would recommend , at least at this time....tattooing in all its aspects is skyrocketing forward very fast and new things come out all the time ...just don't be a guinea pig for ANYTHING...you have live with the results!...TAz

Hey I have had 3 reatments so far with Tat Gone Ink, my guy charges about $125 every time. So far the process is super slow but I do see I difference. He said it would take time, and I do have that, so I will keep you posted! I am going for my 4th treatment on Tuesday 6/13...wish me luck!

I've heard on other forums that it's garbage. For someone to say that it's extremely slow, sounds like a scam. You could get extremely slow results by tattooing over a tattoo without anything in the tube. Ever scrape a tattoo? you lose color that way too. I'd watch out for scarring if it's taking that many sessions.

But what about the people who really hate their tattoo and would much rather have a scar than the tattoo?

legacy, a good laser guy wont be much more expensive (at $125 a pop and more than 4 sessions thats gonna add up) and definitely more reliable and effective. Good laser guys arent as easy to find I imagine, but everything about tattooing is learning how to do it the best way the first (or in this case the next) time. Quality lasering is the best way to lighten and/or remove a tattoo.

Oh, and I didnt read the thread beginning! Fact is if Guy and Joe recommend something (or recommend staying away from something) you can trust their judgement. I do at least.

What about Rejuvi? Any better than tatgone? I'm also pretty desparate. Also, what's this about lasers being 125 a pop, um I've never heard that price before. Most people say it's much much more.

Hey so I got my fourth treatment of Tat Gone Ink and right now it is in the "scab" phase...pretty gross but I'll let you know what prevails after the scab comes off.

A few years ago, I had two treatments done on a tattoo on my ankle using tat gone ink. It worked very well. About half of the tattoo is gone and I only haven't finished because the place I went to shut down and no one around me does it anymore. Just don't let them tell you to scrape the scab off everyday. Just let it heal and fall off. Hope this helps.

it may work in some cases, but Ive heard too many bad things to trust it... theres a reason you cant find any other artist to do it...

more and more studios are getting lasers and they dont punish you with price like demrmatologists do, they charge reasonable rates. Do some serious homework, you might just find a good laser guy in driving distance...

I've been following this topic because I've been having the tatgone ink treatments too. So, I've had 4 treatments and see very little results so far. If I squint my eyes sometimes I think I might see fading. My artist told me it takes a few applications before it works but I'm feeling prettty disappointed so far. I've seen postings on the net from people who say it works and can't decide whether to trust them or not. I've already bought my bottle of tatgone ink, so I'll keep going back for treatments till its gone. If anything changes I'll post again. For the record though, I haven't gotten any scars from it at all. Its had really no effect at all on me (I get the scab, it falls off, then there's still the tattoo).

Before trying the tatgone, I had a year of laser treatments. The laser didn't work on the green and blue of my tattoos. So, sorry to tell you all, but looks like even unwanted tattoos might turn out to be permanent. Laser didn't work for me and tatgone doesn't seem to either.

In some cases, especially with green or blue pigments the laser just won't make the ink disappear but however will usually lighten it enough to facilitate covering.

No, not Tat B Gone, Tatgone Ink. They are different- I've never tried the tat b gone cream cause it looks like a scam (maybe tatgone ink is too?). About getting cancer from Tatgone Ink, I just read that thread last night. So, then I pulled out the ingredients list that came with my bottle of ink.

The ingredient that Moris (can't remember if I'm getting his name right) listed as being the main active ingredient is not listed as an ingredient. I don't have the ingredient list with me now, but I can post it later if you want. Anyways, from the ingredient list, that carcinogin isn't listed.

BTW, I'm not trying to say Moris is wrong, I'm just saying it doesn't all seem to add up. Trust me, I don't want cancer anymore than anyone else!

Rejuvi is no good, we used it for a while and results are nor good enough. We now have a Laser and we can do more work, quicker, less pain, less money and it works.

Similar product to Rejuvi is Tattoo E-Raze beware you only get one skin.

Stop being scammed and use proven technology.

There is an Tatoo Artist near by that swears it works. I would like to have one of mine removed.

i purchased tat gone ink a couple of years ago and found a willing artist to apply it on me. i only did one session. i wanted to have a small flower on my interior ankle, down on the very bottom (a very sensitive spot). that tattoo hurt pretty bad when i was getting it, but i was no where near strong enough for the pain of the tat gone ink. we didn't make it through the whole session on my ankle. however, i had three small initials in a heart on my lower abdomen and he only did one session on them and they came out the first time...no scar, nothing. the ankle got a weird scar tissue in it after the scab fell off and unfortunately i moved like two months after my treatment and i neglected to go back to the artist and get my tat gone ink or follow up with it. i am now using wrecking balm and am only on my third session of it. i am trying not to go to lasers, but that is my next option if wrecking balm doesn't work. i am interested to know if i am to understand that some artists now have lasers in their shops??? i have only heard of doctors doing laser and it is really frickin expensive. i would feel more comfortable in a tattoo shop...anyone know of any artists with lasers??? bottomline...i think it matters where the tattoo is and what color with the tat gone ink. the black initials > gone in one session and no scarring (on stomache ...ie with fleshy skin) and scar tissue and only fading on my ankle...no flesh, just skin and bone...that ink is in there!!!!

I had my first treatment of tatgone about 5 months ago. The tattoo faded significantly but it did leave some scarring. I've been using vitamin E hoping it will help with that. I went to another artist to get another opinion on the results and he was suprised at the amount of fading that occured. He also told me that the scarring was better than what he'd seen with most laser treatment.
I'm getting another treatment within the next month and i'll keep everyone posted on the results.

I've been using Tat Gone Ink on myself and on customers wanted to light up tattoo for perfect cover up or to remove tattoo completly. I tried on myself both methods - laser and Tat Gone Ink. Laser caused some discoloration (brown) on my skin and some scarring (no big deal since it will be cover up). Tat Gone Ink is not color selective as laser and works faster. NONE of my customers has scars from this. I am using this product for 2 years and I prefer more then laser. The worst part is few days after scab is dry - the most important thing is NOT to pick it up - it may cause scarring. I have a customer who can not keep his fingers away and we did 8 sessions and tattoo is still there (very very light but still is), another person kept for 12 days - after fisrt application 98% was gone.

I also have an unwanted tattoo, and am looking for a way to remove it. I have seen the creams (Tat-B-Gone & Tat-Off), I do not know if they are for real or a scam, or if they can cause cancer, then I found the Tat Gone Ink. I have read and read, and I still do not know if this is the best option for me. I have also seen a Dermatologist. I was reading a message about the laser not being able to remove blue and green colors, well here in Houston Texas they have a new laser that is called the YAG laser that removes those colors. I want to have laser treatment, but it is so expensive and I have a huge tattoo. I would like to find an effective but reasonably priced method of removing my tattoo.

I have started to get laser treatment and so far, so good.

Here's the thing... there are different lasers out there, some are incredible, some are old and sucky.

My guy is using the Medlite c6 (look it up!) and everything I have read about it says that it has lasers that can work on GREEN and SKY BLUE. My tattoo has a lot of blue, which is why I chose this place. And my treatments are $200 per session (I have an ankle wraparound), with an estimated 5 treatments.

I don't think $1000 is unreasonable to have treatment with one of the best tattoo lasers out there.

I would steer clear of any creams/acids. Think of it this way... in order to get the color to come out, you have to seriously abbraise the area. That causes skin molecules to change, thus, more than likely leading to a scar, with no guarantee that the color will leave.

Oh -- I didn't mention. The cooled air was more irritating than the laser treament. Now, (the next day) it's just itchy, but totally bearable.

YOU GUYS SHOULD USE DRY ICE!!!! Ive taken out 4 of my tattoos by holding dry ice on it. It hurt a bit. Then I put Niasporin for 2 weeks and it heald the scar also

from what i understand, tat gone is designed not to bring the pigment to the top of the skin but break it up and allow your body to absorb it naturally. scarring is more than likely the result of a tattoo artist who is trying to get it done too quickly and not treating the skin like they should. scarring can occur during the process of getting a tattoo if the artist is too heavy handed, and going over a tattoo too soon after it is initially done creates more opprotunity for scarring to occur. laser removal also takes multiple sessions, especially for blues and greens, so dont let anyone fool you into thinking its a quick fix. its not, and its supposed to be very painful. i hope this information helps, if its not too late.

This reply to your original post is long in coming, but I was searching sites "tat gone ink scarring" and came across this. I just want to add my experience with this horrible product. I started the procedure three years ago, and after two treatments on my forearm, I am left with keloid scarring. It looks like I bit the asphalt on a motorcycle. I am currently removing the rest of the tat with laser, yes...expensive, but by professionals. I see a remarkable difference after 6 treatments. This experience with Tat Gone Ink I will have visable reminders of the rest of my life. I truly regret falling into the "quick fix" category.

Does anyone know how long Rejuvi has been out for? or anywhere where pictures of completed courses with results can be seen? From start to finish?
I have a tattoo between my pelvic bones that I was looking to get lasered off but my friend mentioned this. Have been into the salon that does it and it is very cheap compared to lasering but money means nothing as long as I get the results I want... but as my tattoo is about 6 inches by 1.5 inches I want minimal scarring (obviously). I seem to be doubting the results as no one seems happy and sounds like they are left with not only fading unrecognisable tattoo's but what looks like burn scarring!?? I'm also doubting laser treatment as it can leave scars which is likely on my skin tone as I'm half Thai. After weighing up the scarring and my tattoo... I'm sort of coming to the conclusion that maybe I'll have to accept my mistake and live with my tattoo.

I have had two small tattoos (about 1" by 1") removed using rejuvi, and after one treatment my results have been really good. Its hard to find resources on the net that show the final result, so I took what I considered to be a big risk in getting the treatment, and thankfully had 95% of the ink removed in the first sitting. As it stands now (80 days after the first treatment) I dont think it looks like it is going to scar, and I'm due for the second treatment in a fortnight. My pics are here:

Hi all, after much contemplation I've decided to go ahead with the Rejuvi tattoo removal process.

I'd like to pass on what the specialist told me as I think it might help:
Rejuvi binds to the tattoo ink and, as recognized by your body as foreign, the immune system begins to attack it and force it out of your skin - each time bringing up a bit of ink with it. It is best to do small areas at any given time as a large area means the immune attack is less focused and thus likely to result in less of a change... it is deemed safer than Laser because it forces the ink out rather than pushing it into your body for removal - Laser breaks the particles down by effectively burning them and then the ink goes through your body, through your lymphatic system and through the kidneys before it comes out - this poses some risks.

I just had my first session yesterday; my tattoo is about 3 square inches and he did the top half first to enable the immune response to be quicker - I will be due for the bottom half in about 4 weeks. The procedure itself feels exactly like having a tattoo as it is similar in that a tattoo gun like machine is used except instead of ink, a cream is inserted. The painful part is that he went over it at least 3 times, so it can get a bit intense!! When I left the clinic yesterday it felt like someone had a lighter to my skin... within a couple of hours it just became a stinging sensation, after that it was a case of cringing every time I moved in such a way that it stretched the skin... Now one day later I am just experiencing some discomfort as it is still not completely dry and keeps sticking to my top but otherwise it is managable. The scab has already formed and you can tell ink is within the scab as the colour of the scab is the same colour as my tattoo - so no doubt it works to some extent!

I will keep you posted as to the progess of the scab and scarring within the coming weeks!
