I just got a new tattoo along the length of my right side, over my hip and ribs.I have VERY FAINT flesh colored stretch marks on my hip-they are not noticable except in very bright light. However it has adversly affected my tattoo. So far I just have outline because its a very large piece..I started it 3 days ago..and the ink sems to be blurring where the stretch marks are.I'm really upset.Has anyone heard of this?

Stretch marks are basically torn skin, when you do a tat over them different things can happen, like bleeding which is probably what you've experienced. Because the tissue is torn under the skin it allows for the pigment molecules to migrate or bleed into the surrounding skin, no matter where the artist inserts them. I do tats in a beauty salon so I see a lot of clients that want them covered up too. Usually I recommend trying glycolic peels and dermabrasion to help in cell rejuvination before doing any kind of tat. If that's not possible I recommend finding a tat artist that has worked with scars before and knows how to camoflouge it to match your skin tone. Other than that...stretch mark should be a "no no" for tattooing.

Hey there,

I read your answer to the article of stretch marks. I have them on my belly. they are about 7 years old.(pregnancy) I recently stoped by a tatoo shop this past week. I have an appointment this friday to tat, my strechmarks. This will be my first tat. I am affraight I will regret it. but I hate to see my self naked on the mirrow. I am 26 and have not worn a small t-shirt in 8 years now.... i do not have a partner, so when i am with a guy (intinate) the lights are always off. someguys love to see their women naked. i am too affraight they might get disgusted as I am when i see them. any suggestions???

My advice is don't get the tattoo if your belly is in that shape. You end up drawing more attention to the unwanted stretchmarks in this case. There are a few very talented artists that can come up with designs in your situation, but make sure the artist is competent enough to do so. Best stretchmark coverup I ever saw was from Bald Bill up at Yankee Tattoo in Burlington VT.

I don't know, I can't say what would happen for each individual person, I'm certainly no tattoo artist.

However my first tattoo is over stretch marks, I was totally freaked out about telling my artist, because of course it's kind of embarrassing, and like all good women I evaluate my body like the mainstream media wants me to. As far as I can tell, for the first three weeks the stretch marks were gone, then as all the swelling went away they returned, but are completely hidden, you can sort of feel them if you run a hand over my side, but not nearly as much as before. There's been some anecdotal evidence that if you tattoo over them or other scar tissue they lie flatter. It seems to be true for me, it might not be for you.

Anyway, I'm very happy with it, extremely happy, actually. I used to really hate my side because of the stretch marks etc. Now it's the area I want people to see most. It's funny how things change I guess.

How bad do the stretch marks have to be to cause a problem with tattooing over them? I have a few where I'd like to tattoo, mostly just becuase that's where I want the tattoo, and of course the second reason is I wouldn't mind covering up the few stretch marks I do have.

Ladies there are stretch marks and then there are STRETCH MARKS...from little skin discolorations to huge canyons you could park a Volkswagen in...and guys get em too!!....The rate of success when tattooing over these stretch marks depends on several factors...the depth of the scar...the width of the scar and the type of skin...Yes there are "TYPES" of skin.....some can be successfully tattooed others may not.....just be sure to go to a competent tattoo artist who is experienced in tattooing scars and stretch marks....TAz

Not really Ducky. If you've got em, you've got em for life. Unfortunately, there aren't any creams or procedures that will make them go away. A large part of it depends on genetics...doesn't everything come down to genetics?! Blah. Anyway...you can do things to make them less noticeable (supposedly) peels, laser resurfacing, tummy tuck, etc....Maybe one day they'll come out with some magic procedure to make them go away permanently.

Ducky,
Stretch marks are a very small price to pay for the gift of an amazing child. I agree with the genetic link. Ask your mama and aunts. I did not get one, and my belly got HUGE!
Of course, lack of sleep and worrying about teenage boys in the future is now giving me crows feet and gray hair.
Can you tattoo crows feet?

hell

to DSWEETSUSSY and all you other girls that have the belly stretchmarks, you could tattoo over them, and it may hide them.

but as a man, I have got to ask why??

you earned those marks when you birthed your child, wear them as a badge of honor, you went through alot to get them, not to mention alot of guys find that whole motherhood thing very attractive.

I say to all the mommies of the world, peel those shirts!! let everything flop out and sag!!! show your stretchies proudly!!!

and if you still want to cover that up, well heres an idea.... color the stretchmarks dark green, and do the rest of your belly in a light green, this way your belly can be camoflagued as a watermelon.

OK....keep this in mind....

not all stretchmarks are from kids! maybe some of the people that want them covered want them covered because they represent a time in their life they'd rather not remember.

surprise, az

I'm curious as to what effects new stretchmarks might have on already existing tattoos?

Just curious, bc as I mentioned in another post I'm preggo. Lucky so far as I'm due in August and still no stretch marks (hopefully stays that way).

Are the same issues present when tattooing scar tissue, say stitches or burn areas? I've had more than my fair share of stitches and roadrash (and I don't regret any of it, each scar is a story). However some of these areas are in the path of where I would like to eventually get work done.

Ok ladies! I am in the same situation. I have a love hate relationship with myself at all times. Having a child is one of the most amazing experiences in this life, unfortunaltely we are given no allowances or appreciation for what our bodies endure during the process. The mere fact that we do not have our badges of honor (stretch marks) bronzed and gilded with gold is a downright shame. This society pushes the nmother goddess down so far you cant even remember how amazing your body is ! It's own uniqueness is drowned out by airbrushed models and crystal meth head actresses on the cover of US magazine and People. Tatooing seems to be a consideration in my head as well, but at the same time IM TIRED OF HIDING WHO I AM. I think we should wear our belly shirts with the best of em' and declare stretch marks a right of passage and an honor to have!

Another scar/post birth question...

One of my good friends recently had a baby boy and at the last minute they had to deliver him by cesarean section. The incision cut her tattoo in half! I have seen the tattoo now that all of the stiches have been removed and the doctors didn't do the best job of lining everything back up...

I guess my question is: Is it okay to tattoo over that deep of a scar?

She's a very happy mother and would never take back the birth of her beautiful son but I know that she really liked the work she had done...

Also, I'm seeing a lot of women getting tattooed in this area so I'm sure this is getting to be a common problem, any kind of response would be great!

Well we have seen the name of one artist that tattoos scars well...how about others?

I am a guy and my fat ass has them as well. I have thought about getting them covered and just have not got there yet. I used to be skinny, but I put on weight so fast and BAM. I guess I should have put the fork down, but I like to eat and well, I hate to exercise.

Mine are a badge of laziness, but a hell of an excuse to get a tattoo. To be quite honest, I am not thrilled about looking at them so I am quite interested with people's experiences with certain artists.

Firstly, stretch marks are common. Even on the slightest frame (men and women). I have them on my hips due to hitting puberty at such a young age and my body growing very quickly.
But so what? In the bedroom the lights are on, as I want to see the man I'm with just as much as he wants to see me.
If your man is mature and knowledgable about the workings of a womans body, then he wont give a damn about the slight imperfection... as let's face it, I've yet to come across the perfect man!
I think we all now understand from the replies above that, like with any tattoo, they must be credible. Anyone who walks in to get a tattoo done without really getting to know who's inking you, is a slight fool if you ask me.
Any credible artist worth their salt will enjoy finding out what it is you want, give creative input, take pride in his/her work and will want the best result for you. If this means discussing the ins and outs and the personals, then so be it - if they're professional - they won't mind! (I'm sure they've been asked all sorts before, youwon't be the first)
Best of luck - hope all your inking goes well and the results fabulous!

wel, i have a question... i had my daughter young, at 17, and apparently, my body didn't like it. and like someone above mentioned, there's stretch marks, and then there's STRETCH MARKS, and I have huge, crater-like strips missing from my once perfect skin. I'd like a tattoo on my back that goes onto my side just a bit, but i have some stretch marks, pretty bad ones, there. my skin stretched badly, it still sags, and i have one tattoo now, on my neck, and my skin reacted badly to it (my body just rejects EVERYTHING, lol, including my piercings) and i was wondering if anyone knew whether or not having such sensitive skin meant that it would definitely bleed through my stretch marks? It's been about a year and a half since i had my daughter, but my stretch marks are still pretty nasty. Anyone have an experience to share with someone who has STRETCH MARKS? lol.

Well I happen to be married to a tattoo artist ad I do have stretch marks from 2 kids. I was never really embarassed to have them but decided to get a nice tat over it. I had it done 3 years ago and it look fantastic. Ofcourse he is a great tattoo artist :-) Nevertheless....my stretchmarks got better over the years. They kinda shrunk into smaller little ones and after vibration training they were hardly visible. But the tat has made them dissapear all together.....but I totally agree, IF YOU EVER CONSIDER HAVING IT DONE CHOOSE A VVEEEERRRYYY GOOD TATTOO ARTIST because if they go too deep with the needle it can get blurry and ugly. All women hving given birth of this world, be proud of your marks.

Ok, so six months ago I brought the most beautiful set of twin girls into the world. Liberty and Eden. They are my pride and joy and I wouldn't trade them for the world. I certainly have no regrets. What I do have, however, is a stomach that used to be completely toned and beautiful and now looks like it was put through a shredder. My stretch marks have completely lightened up so I wish they weren't so deep but they are canyons. I am so embarrassed by them. especially since I remember how gorgeous my tummy used to be. My hubby doesn't mind them but said if it bothers me so much I might consider getting a tattoo over them. I have been reading all the comments on this page and it is starting to sound like a bad idea. What I thought I might do is get a tiny tattoo over a couple marks, a little flower or something, and see how it turns out. If it blurrs like everyone is saying it prolly will then I'll just give up on the idea but do you think it's even worth a try? I have a six pack under all this skin but you can't see it. It's really depressing and I just want my body back. I can't have any more kids cause I hemorraged really badly during the deliever and almost died, almost taking my babies with me no less. Well, since I'm not getting preggo again ever I really want a permanant fix.

Now secondly,NEVER be ashamed of those marks, they are the sign of a MOTHER, BE PROUD!

But I do understand and yes, a good artist can do wonders as far as comouflaging your stretch marks.Make sure he/she has experince in this and is confident in the process.

Hey guys... It's true that males get stretch marks too!!! I am a Rugby League Player here in Australia and as the stereotype goes, jocks need good bodies. I went through an intense training regime and as a result have stretch marks all over the inside of my upper arms (arm pit area down to elbow area)

At first upon discovering them I was shocked and horrified, because they were something I knew little about, but now I have them I discover that it is common for men to gain stretch marks in this area (and others, i.e. inner thighs)

I have wanted ever since gaining them to get a quick cover up, and have tried most of the products sold on the shelf and have now moved to a doctor prescribed steroid cream. However, in the long run, the stretch marks are still there!!!

I have had thoughts of getting some ink, which has brought me to this discussion board. Nevertheless, if anyone knows any other ways to improve the healing of them, and encourage firming of the skin, I would like to know in order to try everything before turning to a tattoo. Thanks!!!

I too have crazy ass stretchmarks everywhere. My stomach is from side to side filled with these loooong things. And it goes to my back. On my chest (close to the armpits) there are couple that are as thick as my middle finger. And I am a guy. Propably wont get my stomach area or sides ever tattooed (at least not with anything that will hold up), because they are so deep. You are still 17 so remember to take good care of your body so you dont get anymore :)

I DONT HAVE STRETCH MARKS ANY MORE . . (WELL I STILL HAVE A FEW) BUT I NOW LOOK LIKE A ROAD MAP FROM ALL THE COSMENTIC SURGERY I'VE HAD TO REMOVE THEM AND A WHOLE HEAP OF EXCESS SKIN.

IT WASNT JUST BABIES IN MY CASE, IVE LOST HALF MY BODY WEIGHT (THERE USED TO BE TWO OF ME IN HERE) AROUND 65KG.

SO YEAH NOW AT THE AGE OF 56 I HAVE THE BODY OF A GODDESS (HELL I AM A GODDESS!) DUE TO ALL THE SURGERY AND THE FACT THAT IVE BEEN LIFTING WEIGHTS AND DOING YOGA FOR THE PAST 5 YEARS.

MOST OF THE SCARS I DONT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH BUT I'VE JUST HAD A BUTT LIFT AND NOW I HAVE A BIG SCAR THAT GOES ACROSS MY BACK FROM ONE HIP TO THE OTHER AND ITS VISIBLE WHEN I WEAR JEANS. THE SURGEON DID A GREAT JOB AND ITS IN A LOVELY WING SHAPE THAT SPREADS OUT FROM MY SPINE.

ITS PERFECT FOR TATOOING AND THANKFULLY I SCAR QUITE WELL. BUT HOW LONG DO I NEED TO WAIT BEFORE GETTING IT DONE?? THE SOONER THE BETTER . . I'M 56 NOW . . I DONT HAVE TOO MUCH TIME LEFT! LOL!!

I had a tattoo done on my upper thigh over some small, white stretch marks and it turned out perfectly. To be honest, I didn't even think about the stretch marks before going in for the tattoo, but since they were white and not very deep, I guess it didn't matter.

I don't remember what artist specifically I went to, but I WAS in San Diego at the time--in Pacific Beach at the first of the tattoo shops on that main road... sorry I can't really be of more help.

Anyway, now I'm working on a sleeve and I have this random semi-deep stretch mark on the top of my shoulder. I haven't asked my tattoo artist about it yet, but he's a cool guy. Remember, they're already working with you in a really intimate way. So don't be embarrassed to talk to them about it. It's no secret. He obviously realizes I have stretch marks, so we'll just have to work out the tattoo design so that we can tattoo around it or over it in a cool way that won't show any bleeding of the ink. I'm not sure yet how it'll work out, but I'll let you know.

I'm going to Hawaii next week and am planning on getting a tat there. I've just recently thought about tattooing over my stretch marks. I have 2 on each side of my belly button that are pretty long. They're aren't really pink, more of a dark tan skin color. There are a few little ones, but I'm not as worried about them. I can send pictures if you need a better "idea" (though, ick, lol). Um, i have a similar situation to many of the people here. I have pretty small skinny stretch marks on my sides, but the thing is there are quite a few of them. They have been healing over the years and are pretty old now but still noticable. I've read that you can tattoo over them but i have a slight twist on my question. Does anyone know if you can actally tattoo the stretch marks a collor that is close to your skin tone so that they dont stick out as much?? They are small strtch marks and have already healed but they stll bug the hell outa me. Would it be possible to just tatto the marks themselves to a color very close to my skin tone??

They have been healing over the years and are pretty old now but still noticable. I've read that you can tattoo over them but i have a slight twist on my question. Does anyone know if you can actally tattoo the stretch marks a collor that is close to your skin tone so that they dont stick out as much?? They are small strtch marks and have already healed but they stll bug the hell outa me. Would it be possible to just tatto the marks themselves to a color very close to my skin tone??

~*I am currently 18 years old and i have an 18 month old son. i am very tall and very slender and my stomach is as flat as can be like it was before my pregnancy. but i have stretch marks ALL OVER my stomach! they are crater-like marks from above my navel to down below. they are very bad and i used to feel so self conscious. after all i am only 18, im still a baby. i came to this site a few months ago to read what people had to say about the idea of tattoing over stretch marks that kind of changed my mind in not getting it done. but i just went today to get a tattoo of camoflauge flames and it is completely gorgeous!! i traded $6000 for a tummy tuck for $400 for a tattoo. i saved $5400 lol my body sucks ass. i still have stretch marks on my hips and between my thighs and bikini line, but you cant notice them now because the concentration is on my tat. i even got my nipples pierced to enhance the way my breasts look. (i have a big areola and my breasts are saggy. i have stretch marks and they are sunken in. aka 80 year old woman. the piercing now keeps my nipples erect so my breasts appear perky and nice!) anyone that needs any tips or has any concerns you can reach me at kalarpari@yahoo.com i even have before and after pics. good luck to all!*~

p.s. the next step will be a breast lift with augmentation to fix these grandma boobs lol

~*by the way, you just have to overcome your fear and remember that anything that doesnt work for another person may work for you and vice versa.you cannot relate ANY stretch mark to pregnancy stretch marks or scars. THEY ARE VERY DIFFERENT AND ALWAYS WILL BE! if you really want to overcome the way you feel (proud but then again disgusted and dissappointed, come on ladies lets face it, childbirth is beautiful but with everything comes a price! and with this, you get no discounts. only the lucky ones:P) then you will put the fear and the negative comments and thoughts behind you. i was ready to commit suicide everytime i saw a youthful person that looked the way i once looked. i said "fuck this, its my time to shine...again." and now, Remmy is back baby! i can feel confident again like i never had a pregnancy. get over that fear and do your research! just browse around, ask questions! you can do it! and trust me, if you saw MY before and after photos, you would see the change and maybe look for the same alternative. all women are beautiful NO MATTER WHAT!*~

Hey.

I'm 24 and was sick bed bound for quite a while. I layed still for a very long time and when i started moving after many years, my skin stretched and left me with many ugly and in some areas deep marks/scars. Found this place as i want to get a tattoo but there seems to be no skin left where there isn't stretchmarks all over. I want to get an all black tottoo like the one George Clooney wears in From Dusk til dawn for example. I want it covering a large part of my body. I guess i wouldn't have to worry about bleeding as it would be all black. Question no one's asked though, does it hurt more when having a tat over marks? I find my marks to be more sensitive then regular skin, so i'm a bit scared. Aslo, i am troubled to find a good artist good enough.

Can anyone please recommend one in the states that i can visit when i go there next summer? Preferably in Los Angeles or Miami.

Feels good to know i'm not alone, thanks. I feel horrible.

Orion. There are great artists in Sweden also that you could contact and talk to them. Just something simple on top of the scars wouldnt neccecarily work. The tattoo should go along with the direction of the scars and kinda like make it part of the tattoo with out it being visible

www.tattooworldmalmo.com

www.lefthandtattoo.se

www.kingcarlostattoo.com

www.horimatsu.com

ps. What do you mean it wont bleed because the tattoo will be in black? The ink doesnt make the body bleed, but the needles.

Hey what about stretch marks on African American light med brown skin, that happen to be a very dark redish purple color. Any advice on this? I can't stand them and not because of a man. Just cuz they are ugly. They looked like a dinosaur clawed both sides of my hips! Help. Also can anyone reccomend a good artist in the SF Bay Area?

hey here's an idea, why don't you incorporate your strech marks into your tattoo? i don't mean attempt to cover them up just create a pattern/image that will make the tattoo more of an original art work on your body following the outline that your streach marks have. it would deffo make your tattoo more original and uniqe.

it might give you a new way to appreciate the beauty that is your body!

p.s i have ALOT of strech marks (and not from kids) so i konw how you feel!

I'm only 17! but oneday i hope to be invlolved in the tattooing industry! & learning little things like whether you can cover stretch marks & scars i spose opens my mind a bit more to things i'll come across! as someone else repleid above above about it varying on the depth and width of the stretch marks is right! they could possibly be covered but the results will vary due to the marks themselves! i agree with people saying go to artists who are used to covering things like this up. but to help smooth stretch marks out you can use oils and lotions everytime you get out the shower!
i use Bio-Oil on mine, they arent terrible but i find its improved them alot! :) hope this helps some people!

I still hide my stretchmarks, but am amazed with them as well. I have not tattooed them because I consider them natural tattoos! Here is a poem I wrote that explains what I mean:

Silver Lace (Stretch Marks)

Mirrors, reflections of silver –
Light, water, life
sparkling on and around me.
The white lines, once purple and red,
are sweetly deceiving,
for when the light shines on me,
I am laced with silver,
shrouded with gentle beauty.

The web covers the center of my body,
along with a wolf’s touch,
since life came forth from it.
These are noble signatures;
for certain, webs and wolves
are both mystical and strong,
teaching us intelligence,
and that the world should go on.

The privilege to have (and to know)
a body like mine – an instrument
of life instruction, life worth –
is a gift not to be forsaken:
God’s greatest creatures have blessed me,
cradled my living treasures for months,
and have forever draped across me
a shining film of silver lace.

Last Tuesday I started a tattoo on my belly and I have LOTS of stretch marks. My tummy is flat without sagging skin like I have seen on some other women who have children. My son is 13 years old and so are my stretch marks . My outline looks great !!! You can hardly even tell that I have stretch marks at all anymore...and it's just an outline !!! I am going to get it filled in next Tuesday !I am really looking forward to going to the beach this summer and showing off my stomach and new art :)

I just seen this blog or whatever , i had big stretchmarks on my belly for like 2 years or more , previously had some tattoos , i decided to man up and make a tribal over the stretch marks on my belly , dunno bout yall but the dude used like 9 needles and worked like an viking non stop till the job was done , i can truly tell you it was painfull as hell , i didnt make a sound but i felt like dieing :) .But was worth it , if you hate the body mutations or so i call them , and can stand the pain , i recommend.Well in my case the technique wasn't to mask them by some model , he made the tribal exactly on the stretchmarks and near. The whole belly took like 2 days work including pauses and such , huge pain factor , also was tattooe'd deep in the skin.Hope it helps for someone , be carefull when healing to give the tat lots of air dont wear t-shirts or whatever.Speeds up the healing i guess.Bye

I have had really good success normalizing skin with helichrysum essential oil. It has amazing cellular rejuvenation properties and it helped revive my breasts after 6 years of breast feeding. It is expensive but so worth the money because it can also seal wounds together quite rapidly when poured directly into puncture wounds and bad abrasions. Has saved our family thousands of dollars in hospitable bills avoiding stitches. I am reminding myself to use it on my pregnancy stretch marks before I invest in a tattoo. Simplers Botanicals is a good company to check out online for helichrysum.

OK so i read a little more than half of these comments and i have to say. While all you people are "proud" of your stretch marks im totally discusted by mine. I love my baby girl but it doesn't change th fact that not all women want to have battle scars. Unfortunetly i had a c section as well so i have many scars from that battle. I personally am not proud of my ability to grow stretchmarks and would love to get rid of them. And yes some men are mature enough to look past them i however, don't want my husband to have to do that. I don't want to try to be happy with the image looking back at me in the mirror. It makes me hate myself. So don't tell women they should be proud of their scars. And if you want to be proud More POWER TO YA. Just don't tell me i should do the same. I prefer to work at getting rid of them rather than just excepting them.

Hi Everyone...I am not like anyone else here. I was put on Prednizone to reduce the inflamation of chronic lung problems and over long term usage I developed symptoms of Cushing Syndrome. Not the actual disease itself but just the symptoms and one of them is horrible stomach stretch marks. If you Google that illness you will see pictures of the stretch marks that you develop and I was wondering if there are any professionals here that can advise me on whether or not I could tattoo over these types of stretch marks? And if so, do you have any ideas or suggestions of what kind of work or design would suit that area? Thanks for all the help and your patience in advance. Have a great day everyone!

I was in a bad car accident a few years back where I was ejected from the vehicle through the closed window. Either the glass or the road tore my hip up, and they look like stretch marks; only they have black pieces in them. Almost looks like asphalt. Would these scars be easy to hide when tattooing or should I just accept that it looks like I have black spotted stretch marks for the rest of my life?

Ok, so i have just finished two big tattoo pieces on my hips. Perviously i had strechmarks of probably 4 inches on either side of my hips. I hated them, i have seen people with worse ones but for me i never showed my stomach due to being imbarrased. Im inlove with my new art and my confidence is thru the roof i just want to show them off as much as possible. Now, i had my reservations about doing it because i kept reading shit like all of these postings but truely they look amazing and you could never tell there were strechmarks to begin with. Firstly, do your research. make sure the tattooist is SKILLED and go for a consult to show them the strechmarks before they draw up anything. And secondly it is a bit painful when they are tattooing directly over the scar but not unbareable. so my advise is to GO FOR IT! what can you loose right? youll love your body again and that is priceless in my opinon.

What if i'm a 17 year old girl and have had stretch marks since i was 13 or 14? I just want them covered! i hate them i would love tattoos going up my sides, but what if they dont turn out? I dont even go to the pool or the beach because they're so obvious, and people do stare. I really wish there was something i could get that would make them less noticeable.

I got my tattoo last year when i was 15 on my lower left back. I'm not small by any means and i have light almost non visable all over the area where my tattoo is. i noticed the when the tat was swelled it made the stretch marks bleed a little and start scabbing but as soon as the first week and a half were over it looked perfectly fine. i think it really depends on the depth of the stretch marks.like others have said, if you find a really good tattoo artist they will know how to either work aroiund it or with them. good luck!

Sadly stretch marks can have a great impact on your tattoos...The colors can be faded in or even a totally different color where the stretch marks are...your tattoo artist actually should of warned you about that happening!! I was told that stretch marks do not go but I was fatter and I had lots and I started hitting the gym and toning the area and using raw sheabutter and the went in considerably for than 2/3s of the original and i only used it for 2 months. You can get a huge chunk that last for like 2 to 3 months at an african store for just $5.00. It really works to me. Others say they used bio oil but I never did I used the raw sheabutter and the raised ones started integrating into the skin so they started flattening out. So maybe this wud help before you take the tat.
