Hi. My name is Chad Chase. Owner and operator of Venom Ink Tattoo in Sanford,Maine.I have been tattooing for about 12 years and piercing for 10. I opened my first studio in 1996. I stuck mostly to flash designs for nearly 8 years of my career. Attending as many conventions as I could, taking seminars,and poking and prodding any artist that would give me the time of day, I began to learn technique,ethics and professionalism in the field of tattooing.Years of hard work has got me where I am today and yet there is so much left to learn!! I am currently trying to broaden my horizons and find my own style. Sticking mostly to custom only designs prepared individually for each client has really kept me on my toes and has presented me with the opportunity to really grow as an artist. Everyday I feel like I'm going to learn something new. This alone keeps me driven to be the best I can. Current influences are pretty much any tattooist that makes me wonder how they did that!!
