Art has always been my passion. From an early age I was introduced to many forms of art. My father and grandfather were both extremely artistic but gave up the pencils and paint for metalworking. They were the first people in my life to push me in an artistic direction. At the age of six, my neighbor introduced me to comic book art. Being collectors themselves, they had given me extra copies of comics and fantasy art. Those comic books really peaked my interest and still today comic books are very influential to my artwork. Throughout the next 12 years all I did was sketch and work in all mediums of art. I honestly can't tell you how I graduated highschool, except for all the extra credit posters and highschool event banners. The last two years of school I studied in commercial and graphic arts. In 1994 I began drawing designs for my friend Shadow at his brothers tattoo studio and eventually started tattooing. In 2001 I opened Evolution Tattoo and this is where I remain today. Most of my tattoo artwork is custom drawn for my client. I do my best to make their ideas take form. I find that tattooing, as a career, is extremely fulfilling. To capture and recreate someone else's life experiences in a piece of artwork is an amazing thing.
