Tony Byrne Email Tony Byrne My name is Tony Byrne. I've been tattooing since 2001. I apprenticed at Cat Tattoo under Terry Mayo, who has been a great friend and boss. Thanks Man!! Working with Terry and the crew has been such a blessing through the years for the simple fact that Cat is a 100% custom studio, which means that every Artist that I've had the pleasure to work around has made an impact on my tattooing and my illustrating. I'm a pretty well rounded and versitile artist. I've experimented with many styles but, the stuff i enjoy tattooing the most are the things which are sacred to my clients. I tend to find that more rewarding than doing something that has no meaning or significance to that individual. I've studied Ancient cultures and their religions for the past 18 yrs of my life. Tattooing is one of the oldest artforms known to man. In the course of my studies i became interested in Shamanism. Shamans are healers and in many ways tattooing is a form of healing. Not only for my clients but, for myself as well. =) I don't really stick to just one style of tattooing as i like a challenge. i can get into things that i wouldn't normally draw for fun. I really get off on tattooing things of a very technical nature like Sacred Geometry. In my free time i enjoy Skateboarding with my 4yr old son Bodhi and playing with my new baby girl Shaman and my soulmate Angel, they are my life and the reason i do what i do.......my goal when i am designing a tattoo for someone is to far exceed their expectations. to take a shotty sketch or a general description from a client and make it into something they would have never dreamed of..... that is what makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside....=) |
