email this page to a friend Being a huge Doors fan made this a fun tattoo to do. I included elements of Doors songs into the design such as Riders on the Storm, Moonlight Drive and Celebration of the Lizard. "The Hitchhiker stood by the side of the road and leveled his thumb" I added 27 stars including the shooting star which represent the 27 years of Jim's life before he died. He saw himself as a shooting star, in one glorious moment people look up and oooh and aaah and then whoosh, it's gone. I will post healed photos in a couple weeks.
