email this page to a friend Many of my clients are magickally inclined, Nahi is a priestess of the Egyptian Deity Anpu, also known as Anubis. For a ritual she was performing this past summer, she had the wings of Ma'at tattooed on her back. Ma'at is the Egyptian Goddess of truth and justice, who weighs the hearts of the dead against the feather she wears in her crown and she works alongside Anpu, who guards the gates of the Underworld of Egyptian mythology. The wings continue up over her shoulders and curl up onto her neck. The Celtic knot was done for a previous ritual by a different artist. She didn't want to cover it and so we went around the design to preserve it. Image CommentsThere are no comments for this image. Be the first to leave one! |
