Clean, simple, bold, efficient, the whole summation of why i love the traditional tattoo imagery/technique. This bird is a swallow, though most people refer to them as sparrows. It comes fromt he old school sailor tradition of tattoos, when sight of a bird meant you were close to home (or at least a port). Sailors who tattooed this little guy saw him as a messenger bringing good news, and so this was a fitting tattoo to go on a customer about to get married. Always carrying news of fidelity and love above his heart.
