This was done one in one sitting on a very cool guy who came up from the Cape Cod area, 3 hour drive.

Hello, my name is Terry Ribera, I work at Avalon Tattoo II in San Diego. I am glad to see that you are using nuematic tattoo machines. Your work is very nice by the way. If you have the time I was curious if you could answer a few of my questions on some minor things. The forum seems to be, well very limited on certain topics and I would like to see if you would be willing to share with me a little bit of advice as far as how much pressure you normally use for an outline, shading for grey work, and color. Generally about how much pressure for running 3, 5, and 8 liners. I am not really concerned to much about the shading at this point as I am fairly confident that should't be to hard to figure out. But I really am concerned about how well this thing lines. I am still awaiting for it to arrive in the mail, as the machine was on back order. But I did get the compressor and regulator today. So that was kind of lame. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am sure it is similar to running the armature bar on the thumb to gauge it, but I am so used to the sound of a tattoo machine I am not sure what to expect at this point. I have relied on my ears to help me decide how hard the strik is in conjunction with my thumb. I am sure you are busy so feel free to answer this when you have time. Heck, it be nice that you even answer it at all as I don't know you and this is asking a lot, so I hope I am not pestering you. I'd be more than happy to send you some prints of art or anything if you'd like. you can see my work at www.terryribera.com I sincerely thank you for your time, Terry Ribera
