I did this Koi design a little more traditional than I normaly do, leaving a small negative highlight on each scale instead of doing large color blends throughout the entire piece. I think the effect worked out well for this tattoo though. I also used blue waves, which is pretty rare for me nowadays as well. I usually do all of my water black and grey but I like the blue orange contrast on this one.
