email this page to a friend This Piece started out as part of a much larger painting, that I was kinda Hating on. After starring at it for like 4 months, I finally got up the Gumption to tear it up, and chuck it. But Low and behold, I'd torn the piece just above the Skull (hence the deckled edge). So I decided to finish the skull, and scrap the rest. Hence the Title "Practice Skull". All in all, a fun experiment. p.s. this is also the 1st painting finished after attending the Dave Devriess Seminar. Not that I paint anything like Dave, Mores the pity.
